Esto es llamado Northampton…

Earlier today, with only 30 minutes notice, we were told we would be making a Skype call to another Primary School somewhere in the world. Our job was too try and find out whereabouts in the world they were by asking a series of questions.

Welcome, to Mystery Skype.

The other school could only answer our questions with a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ and so could we, as their task was to also try and guess where our school was. With the Skype call connected we could see the other class at their desks ready to go and we played Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who would ask the first question. The game started with questions going back and forth as each of us took turns trying to work out which country each of us were in.

After a short while we narrowed it down to the Northern Hemisphere, Europe, then Spain, Catalonia and eventually Barcelona which made us a the winning team! Trust us, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Finally, we spent the last 10 minutes of the session finding out what it was like to be a Year 6, or PRIM 6, pupil in Barcelona.

It was great fun and we hope to be doing another one soon.
